The Haztec Infosign is an LED message board designed to be installed in emergency vehicles. It is used to transmit visual instructions to other motorists. It adds an extra degree of safety at accident scenes, road closures, constructions sites and other situations where traffic commands are needed.
The 5-9405-99 can store up to 99 selectable messages each containing 1 or 2 lines of text with a maximum length of 9 characters. Messages are selected by the handheld rotary controller which also displays the current message for the user to see while inside the vehicle.
Messages can consist of letters, numbers or symbols to make arrows going left, right or center out.
Messages can be changed with the optional programming kit that allows the user to enter new messages onto a computer and then download them to the handheld controller.
